Update: May 13, 2020

Dear Cypress Chapel Family,

This coming Sunday May 17th, as a result of the church leadership combined in agreement, we will re-open the doors of our church building for worship at our normal time of 10:00 AM. There will be no Sunday School or Youth Gatherings for the time being and we encourage the continued use of ZOOM meetings for those groups.

VERY IMPORTANT: We are mandated to only allow 50% capacity in our sanctuary, and this must strictly be adhered to or we will be in violation. If we run out of room, those who come late after space is already taken may watch via video through two rooms we can set up. It is highly encouraged masks be worn.

Please refrain from actual contact during our initial re-opening for example handshaking, hugging, and maintain the distance requirements of 6ft. as best as possible. Please remain in the sanctuary only during your time at the church building with the exception of restrooms.

The only entry location we will use is the front door where the handicapped ramp is and all must exit from the opposite door on the other side of the church. Those with disabilities may still exit out of the handicapped ramp doorway. Please expect and be patient of any delays or minor inconveniences as we try to return to normalcy through these measures. We will do our best to accommodate every need and even switch to 2 services if need be to accomplish our goals of re-opening and at the same time staying within the guidelines.

Please remain patient and flexible as we do our best to re-open and abide by the things mentioned. Glorifying God together will bring healing and refreshment to our weary hearts of being apart, but we must do it right so we can ease more and more back to where we were. Thank you for your faithfulness and cooperation.

In Christ,

pastor alan
